  • Program Error Message • Please sync your unit to the GB Manager program and update the firmware and course database. For instructions on syncing with GB Manager, click link below: http://help.golfbuddyglobal.com/.

    • If you are still seeing the message, please reset the device. Please open the battery cover and you will find a small hole concealed underneath a black plastic sticker located on the bottom right of the unit. Please remove the black sticker and insert a narrow object such as a paper clip tip to press and hold down the reset button inside; then connect the data cable. Release the reset button when you see the "Emergency Reboot" screen display. The unit will now restore to factory settings - this will take approximately 5 minutes.

  • Touchscreen Not Responding • If you are still experiencing issues, please reset the GPS. Please open the battery cover and you will find a small hole concealed underneath a black plastic sticker located on the bottom right of the unit. Please remove the black sticker and insert a narrow object such as a paper clip tip to press and hold down the reset button inside; then connect the data cable. Release the reset button when you see the "Emergency Reboot" screen display. The unit will now restore to factory settings - this will take approximately 5 minutes.

  • Unit Will Not Turn On • Please verify that the battery is inserted correctly.

    • If you are still experiencing issues, please check that the data cable and the wall charger and inserted correctly.

    • If you are still experiencing issues, please reset the GPS. Please open the battery cover and you will find a small hole concealed underneath a black plastic sticker located on the bottom right of the unit. Please remove the black sticker and insert a narrow object such as a paper clip tip to press and hold down the reset button inside; then connect the data cable. Release the reset button when you see the "Emergency Reboot" screen display. The unit will now restore to factory settings - this will take approximately 5 minutes.

  • No Satellite Signal • Please note: You are unable to acquire satellite reception while indoors- please make sure you are outside.

    • While on the golf course make sure you have an unobstructed view of the sky. Please head to the tee box.

    • Initial satellite connection may take up to 15 minutes; please note that weather may affect the signal strength.

  • Screen Brightness
    • Please access the Main Menu by pushing the "Menu" button on the unit, or by touching the "Main Menu" selection from the "Locating Satellites" screen.

    • Select the Tool icon and you can scroll down until you see "Screen Brightness." Please verify that it is set to the highest brightness setting.

    • Please note, the screen is designed to illuminate brighter with direct sunlight hitting the screen (please view the screen with the sun located behind you).
  • No SD Card Message • Please verify that the SD card is inserted correctly in the battery compartment. You will need to remove the battery as it is located under the battery slot.

    • If you are still seeing the message, please reset the device.
